Week Sixteen - 36 To Go

Not written for the faint-of-heart Irish. Talty’s thriller/psychological suspense novel depicts the Irish a shade darker than Abbie’s Saab. The backstory adds a punch to the narrative that resolves perhaps too quickly at the conclusion of the novel. Talty’s dark intentions for his first novel did good.

Mallards

One never knows what to expect while walking early in the morning. Today as I made my way around the asphalt walkway at Casey Park spotted two Mallards gliding across a puddle. The puddle was just behind the bleachers along the first base line of Field #2.
My movement towards the ducks flushed them from the puddle.
