Methodist Episcopal Congregation
Built in 1836
by the Methodist Episcopal Congregation, this is the oldest known
Methodist Church in Wayne County, NY. The church operated continually
until the 1960's when declining membership and funds forced its closure.
The church, now home to the Butler Center Church Museum, is on the New
York State and National Registers of Historic Places.
I should get up there, I like the open bell tower.
