Genesee Beer Tanks

Genesee Beer Tanks

Barges carrying Genesee beer tanks destined for the Genesee Brewery in Rochester NY used the Erie Canal.

These tanks were making their way down the Erie Canal to Rochester whrre they will be a key part of Genesee Brewery's $49 million renovation. These formation tanks were literally on "a slow boat from China." Many of today's spectators toasted the tanks with Genesee beer and Cream Ale as they made their way through the lock at Mays Point.

Week Twenty-One - 31 To Go

This 2016 Caldacott Honor book and winner of the Coretta Scott King award, as a Kindle Fire book, works well. Young aspiring musicians will love this book based on the story how Trombone Shorty began his love of music.

Week Twenty-Two - 30 To Go

In his second book in the Father Anselm Mysteries, William Brodrick once again produces a unique "who done it”.  A jacket review claims ‘deep characterization”, but I could not find a likeable one.

Week Twenty - 32 To Go

Laborious reading. The plot never excites. Wish the author had kept Thalia alive for one more session with Alex. Perhaps, Alex and Milo may have run the course.

Week Nineteen - 33 To Go

A quick, mindless, entertaining read. Short on story and plot. Stewart (Big Bang Theory) might displayed this latest Stuart Woods’ work in his comic books store. If you are a Stone Barrington fan, this is not going to disappoint. By now, Woods’ followers know the drill. Fans noting Holly’s return will probably seek out the next 42nd Stone Barrington novella.

Week Eighteen - 34 To Go

M.C. Beaton once again provides the Lochdubh setting with interesting characters and backstories, omitting only Hamish’s wildcat, Sonsie. The epilogue wraps up the subplots in true M.C. Beaton fashion.
