West Side Story

This evening Joan and I attended our first play of the 2015 season, West Side Story.  Entering the Merry-Go-Round playhouse we were greeted by an usher who was busy signing a love note to the stage assistant. Taking our seats we surveyed the crowd which was somewath scarce .

The highlights of this production for us were the opening dance number, Tony serenading Maria outside her bedroom ("Maria"), and Anita, Rosalia and girls singing "America".
