The Calamari Sisters’ Big, Fat, Italian Wedding

Once again Joan and I attended a Calamari Sister's extravaganza. Previously we had seen these girl's production of Cooking with the Calamari Sisters: Mangia Italiano! This evening was our sixth play of the season.

In the parking lot we met up with Lori, Alicia, and Mary Ann. In the theatre we waved to Jim, Rita, Don and Ruth.

In an attempt to cater their big fat Italian wedding, Delphine and Carmela sing, dance, and cook their way through such favorites as “Chapel of Love,” “Love and Marriage,” “Daddy’s Little Girl,” “Get Me To The Church On Time,” and “River Deep, Mountain High.”

The ending had more red herrings than the oodles of pasta the Sisters presented in warmers.

The audience roared throughout and gave a standing ovation at the end.
