Mexico Point State Park

On this beautiful Labor Day Joan and I decided to revisit Mexico Point State Park.

There were several families enjoying the park when we arrived. In fact, we had to park in the overflow lot.

The new bath house provided rest rooms which we appreciated after the long drive.

There are numerous carved statues around the grounds.

Carmen Basilio
Goin' Fishin'
Bessie Maude
Mexico Point Inn Waitress c1910
Joseph Brant
Thayendanegea
Mohawk Chief and Guide

Also, notable on the grounds is Casey's Cottage.
Ruins of Mexico Point Inn (fireplace).
Leaving the park we drove to The Pleasant Beach Hotel for dinner. Unfortunately it was closed for the holiday.

Another great day to traveling the roads of New York State.
