Lake Pleasant and Speculator Historical Museum

Yesterday Joan and I stopped to find a geocache and to take a photo of this buggy. A fellow next door noticed us and shouted over, "We can open the museum if you like." Walked over and introduced myself. He was reluctant to shake my hand because he was working on this car and he was extremely greasy. Told him no problem and we shook.

His wife then came out of their home. This couple were Shorty and Bev. They maintain the museum. They told us to come back tomorrow if we wanted to go inside. So today after breakfast we did .
Bev, Joan, Shorty

Marvelous things inside.
Shorty got out two framed portraits that Bob and Nancy Brown donated.
Bev brought out the painting that Uncle John did.
A boxing display - recalling the days of prize fighters training in the area.
For a visitor this historical museum is a must.
