Our first stop was the Pine Grove Community Church. After taking some chances on several items under the tent, we wander through the church proper. The church association members were very cordial, plus quite knowledgeable on the church's history.

Before heading for Croghan we gassed up and bought the morning paper at the Nice N Easy Grocery Shoppe on River Road.
Once in Croghan we went into the Railroad Historical Society of Northern New York Museum. There Joan found that the tour guide was related to the family through the Bolivers. Upon leaving Joan bought me a hat.
Our distant relative outside the museum.
We attempted to buy some Croghan bologna but alas the Croghan Meat Market closed at noon. We were five minutes late.
Next on the tour was the American Maple Museum. Gail, the docent, greeted us at the main desk. She and her friend were busy making pink pumpkins and pink sap buckets for Pink Celebration. The museum was very extensive. Plus the bathroom were spotless.

Before leaving the museum parking lot took some photos of St. Stephen Catholic Church. Charlene and Roger were married here.
Saving the best for last we headed for the Tug Hill Winery. The intermittent rain did not interfere with our tour of the wine making shed or with Joan's wine tasting with the server, Bonnie. Bonnie is a hospitality major at Jefferson Community College.

After refreshing at Camp Michael we went to dinner at The Pin Tree Inn. Emily, our server, helped Joan with the menu. She chose broiled white with a baked potato and fresh garden salad. I had my usual chicken parm.
The trip to Camp Michael was dark but we made it safely.
