Cayuga College Nature Trail

Sign at the Trail Entrance

Decided to visit the Cayuga College Trail to see if there were any dragonflies around. Was not disappointed.
Damselfly - Aurora Damsel
Dragonfly - Blue Dasher
Dragonfly - Common Whitetail
Dragonflys  - Common Whitetail & Emerald Spreadingwing

Also viewed several birds.
American Robin
Song Sparrow (First Pond)
Red-wing Blackbird (Second Pond)
Gray Catbird

As usual there were deer on the trail.
Feeding near the Second Pond.

Always a great day for visiting this trail.

  5. I would love to have deer on any trail I walk. Lucky you.

The dragonflies are swarming around here too. Good, they eat mosquitoes. Anybody that rids us of those nasty suckers I'm all for 'em.

Great array of bird finds on the trail too. Thanks for checking in and adding your link at I'd Rather B Birdin'. As always, I look forward to what you get on your camera.
