Birding - Cayuga College Nature Trail

At 11 AM Paul Richardson left the gazebo and headed out on the Cayuga College Trail. This was Richardson's annual Spring end-of-the-term bird walk. There were six birders including myself who participated in the trek.
The highlights of the hour walk were a Tree Swallow (perched atop the bluebird house in the first pond), a Chipping Sparrow (also seen around the first pond), a Downy Woodpecker, and a Yellow Warbler (heard).

Also seen and heard on the trail were a Tufted Titmouse, an American Robin, three Black-capped Chickadee, a Song Sparrow, two American Goldfinch, a Tree Swallow, a House Wren, a House Finch, an Auburn Crow, a Yellow-rump Warbler, two Catbirds, a Blue Jay, a Ruby-throat Kinglet, and a American Goldfinch.

Coeds having lunch at the first pond.

Another great day for birding.
